Developing a love for music at an early age, Elle-Marie was heavily influenced by the vibrant '90s pop scene and iconic soul artists such as Aretha Franklin and Sade. She recalls, "I would be up in my bedroom choreographing dances to every new Now CD, but then I would also sneak downstairs and play vinyls on my mum's stack system."

Making the transformative move from the valleys to Kent, her talent and ambition led her to start recording and developing her artistry at the renowned songwriting and production house Xenomania at just 17. However, on a quest for self-discovery, Elle-Marie moved to London, where she honed her craft through dedicated music studies and fully immersed herself in her twenties. Using these experiences to fuel her vulnerable and honest songwriting, she’s now ready to tell her story through her music.
